I’m a Chicana, 7th generation Coloradan with a deep connection to the natural world. I’m also an educator, farmer, environmental steward, a life long mover, and a human navigating chronic illness and disability. I’ve been practicing yoga for 13 years and have found yoga to be a practice of healing and resilience building, helping me to process the world inside and around me. I believe in decolonizing the practice of yoga by honoring its roots, decentering whiteness, and committing to a lifelong journey of learning and unlearning. I facilitate with accessibility, trauma, cultural awareness, and biomimicry in mind. I’m excited to meet you and practice yoga together at the Farmers Market!

I’ve been practicing yoga since 2011. I’m a trained 200-hour yoga teacher, offering all-levels classes rooted in Hatha-style vinyasa with an emphasis on alignment and foundational movement. My teaching encourages students to slow down, tune into each posture, and build strength and awareness through intentional movement. I guide students toward a deeper connection with their bodies, breath, and inner awareness, creating space to explore beyond the physical practice by weaving in elements of yoga philosophy and self-reflection to support a more meaningful connection to themselves on and off the mat.

I've been practicing yoga for twelve years and teaching weekly at the Courageous Space in Denver for a little over a year. I strive to hold space in a way that is inclusive and comfortable for all people. I think yoga can disrupt societal norms by asking us to slow down, look inward, and determine how we can best show up for our communities and practice responsible, loving use of our own energy. I look forward to being in community with you!
