We dive into the heart of this work by exploring The Yoga Sutras, including their history and the deeper wisdom they hold. This week is about uncovering your ideal alignment, connecting with the community, and getting grounded in the structure and flow of the next eight weeks. It’s your foundation for defining what “anything” means for you and setting intentions for transformation.
An introduction to the 5 Yamas, or the ethical foundations of the practice. You’ll explore their origins within the Eight Limbs of Yoga and the philosophical framework guiding this course. This module sets the groundwork for living your yoga far beyond the mat.
The following five modules are a deep-dive into each Yama and their everyday applications.
Ahimsa is the heartbeat of the practice. Centered on compassion and love, we'll look at ahimsa from an internal, external, and earthly perspective. I'll teach you techniques for rerouting harmful thought patterns, riding the reactionary wave, and loving on the Earth a little better.
Truth clarifies direction. You’ll uncover your true path by reconnecting with your core values, discerning factual knowledge from opinions, and learning to communicate and act with integrity. This week teaches you how to recognize what is real versus what is conditioned.
If you love the "woo woo" pieces of this practice (like me)... this module is for you!
Non-stealing invites you into efficiency. We examine scarcity patterns, overconsumption, and where you may be overextending yourself. Through boundaries and awareness, you’ll begin cultivating a grounded sense of enoughness.
This module is about energy mastery. You’ll evaluate where your energy is leaking, learn how moderation supports nervous system balance, and explore sustainable rhythms that honor your capacity. Moderation becomes empowerment, not restriction.
Here, we start to soften our grip. You’ll practice releasing control, outcomes, and identities that no longer serve you. Non-attachment creates spaciousness—and spaciousness creates clarity.
Transformation solidifies through action. You’ll learn how to integrate these teachings into daily rituals and seasonal rhythms so alignment becomes sustainable. This final week anchors your commitment to living yoga—not just learning it.
